Community

At Camden Hill Montessori we value diversity, kindness, caring for others and treating others the way we want to be treated. We teach that making a difference in the community and in the world is worthwhile. We believe that during the developmental years children learn not only in their immediate family but also in society.

By having our students serve their community we are broadening their perspectives and encouraging positive exploration, Involving children in programs that give back to others helps them understand the role they play in looking after and being involved in their community.

Adopt a Family

This was our opportunity to give back during the Christmas season. Look at all the wonderful stuff our families donated.

Sonoma House

Our kids periodically go on a little trip to Sonoma House which is right next door. This is an opportunity they will treasure as they learn about a new generation.

Local Fire Department Education Day

Our kiddos got to learn about fire safety and they got to check out a cool fire truck! What kid doesn’t love staring up at a big red engine?

Independence Gardens

Independence Gardens came and read The Lorax to Primary! They then helped us plant a pear tree – we can’t wait to watch it grow!

Autism Speaks

Our families helped us support our community by donating $1 towards Autism Speaks in return for a bracelet!

Carter Blood Drive

We had our first Carter Blood Drive, and went over the goal that had been set!
